Editorial Policy
How LowCostAI selects tools, checks official sources, handles AI-assisted drafts, and keeps pricing pages reviewable.
How we choose tools
LowCostAI prioritizes tools with clear pricing, meaningful free tiers, useful alternatives, and strong fit for budget-conscious users.
Recommendations are based on use case, total cost, learning curve, plan limits, and whether a cheaper workflow can solve the same problem.
How we check prices
Pricing pages cite official provider pages first. Third-party roundups are not used as the main source for published price claims.
Pages with incomplete pricing evidence stay in draft or review status until the missing source can be verified. This is why some planned comparison pages may not appear in the sitemap yet.
How AI is used
AI may help organize outlines, compare source notes, and draft first-pass explanations.
AI-assisted drafts still need source checks, editorial judgment, and a publication decision before they become live pages.
Update and correction policy
Pricing-sensitive pages are reviewed frequently during the early growth period, especially student discounts, plan comparisons, and deal pages.
If a provider changes a plan, removes an offer, or makes eligibility unclear, LowCostAI updates the page, marks it for review, or removes it from the published path until it can be checked again.
